Settings
The Settings section controls workspace-level configuration for Social Publishing — including team access, approval workflows, and AI preferences.
General Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Workspace name | The display name for your social publishing workspace |
| Default timezone | The timezone used when scheduling posts |
| First day of week | How the Calendar view is rendered (Sunday or Monday) |
Team & Permissions
Manage who can do what in Social Publishing:
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — connect channels, manage settings, publish and approve |
| Editor | Create and schedule posts; cannot connect channels or change settings |
| Viewer | Read-only — can see the calendar and analytics but cannot create posts |
To add a team member, go to Settings → Team and invite by email.
Approval Workflow
When enabled, posts created by Editors require approval before they go live:
- Go to Settings → Approval
- Toggle Require approval for scheduled posts on
- Choose which roles can approve (default: Admin only)
Posts awaiting approval show a Pending Review indicator on the Calendar. Approvers receive a notification and can approve or reject from the post detail view.
AI Settings
Configure the AI copilot that assists with content generation:
- Tone — formal, casual, playful, professional
- Brand voice guidelines — plain-language instructions the AI follows when generating captions
- Hashtag suggestions — enable or disable automatic hashtag recommendations
Notifications
Control when you receive in-app or email notifications for Social Publishing events:
- Post published successfully
- Post failed to publish
- Post needs approval (for Editors)
- Approval decision received (for Editors)
