Monitoring Jobs (Setup)

The Setup tab is where you define what KronGage monitors on your behalf. Each monitoring job specifies the keywords, handles, and platforms to track — and runs on a schedule to continuously collect new mentions.

Creating a Monitoring Job

  1. Go to Listening → Setup
  2. Click + New Monitoring Job
  3. Fill in the job details:
    • Name — a label for this job (e.g. "Brand Mentions", "Competitor: Acme Corp")
    • Keywords — comma-separated terms, hashtags, or @handles to track
    • Platforms — select which social networks to monitor
    • Schedule — how frequently to collect (continuous or interval-based)
  4. Toggle the job Active
  5. Click Save

Data begins flowing to the Overview dashboard once the first collection run completes.


Managing Jobs

From the job list you can:

  • Toggle any job on or off without deleting it
  • Edit a job to update its keywords or platforms
  • Delete jobs that are no longer needed

You can run multiple jobs simultaneously — for example, one job tracking your brand name and a separate job tracking a competitor.
