AI Settings
The AI Settings tab lets administrators configure which AI models power each service and set access and cost controls.
Model Selection
Choose which AI model is used for each KronGage service:

| Intelligence | Model used for Knowledge base Q&A and Listening sentiment |
| Socials | Model used for content generation and the scheduling copilot |
Changing the model affects both response quality and request cost. Higher-capability models consume more tokens per request.
Access Controls
Restrict which team members can trigger AI features:
- Role-based access — limit AI features to specific roles (e.g. only Agents and above can use Captain AI)
- Team-level restrictions — enable or disable AI features per team
Rate Limits
Cap how many AI requests a single user or team can make:
- Per-user limit — maximum requests per user per day
- Per-team limit — maximum requests across all members of a team per day
Requests over the limit are rejected until the limit resets the following day.
Cost Controls
Set a hard stop to prevent unexpected overage:
- Monthly request cap — requests stop being served once this number is reached, regardless of plan limit
- Overage behaviour — choose whether to silently fail or show users an in-app message when the cap is hit
Only administrators can view or change AI Settings.
