Campaigns Overview

Campaigns is KronGage's customer engagement and marketing automation module. Build multi-step journeys, send targeted broadcasts, and manage audience segments — all from a single workspace.

Accessing Campaigns

Click Campaigns in the KronGage left navigation bar (the rocket icon). The module has four sections in the left sidebar:

SectionWhat you can do
ReportingTrack delivery rates, open rates, click rates, and journey performance
MessagingCreate broadcasts, journeys, and message templates
AudienceManage user segments and subscription groups
SettingsConfigure channels, API keys, and workspace preferences

Messaging

The Messaging section is where you create and manage all customer communications.

Broadcasts

A broadcast is a one-time message sent to a segment of your audience. Use broadcasts for:

  • Product announcements
  • Promotions and offers
  • Re-engagement campaigns

To create a broadcast:

  1. Go to Messaging → Broadcasts
  2. Click New Broadcast
  3. Choose a channel (Email, SMS, or in-app)
  4. Select your audience segment
  5. Write your message content
  6. Schedule or send immediately

Journeys

Journeys are automated multi-step workflows triggered by user behaviour. Use journeys for:

  • Onboarding new users
  • Drip email sequences
  • Re-engagement flows when a user goes inactive

Build a journey by connecting trigger nodes, wait steps, condition branches, and message nodes in the visual journey editor.

Templates

Save reusable message templates for broadcasts and journeys. Templates support dynamic variables (e.g. {{first_name}}, {{company}}) that are filled in automatically per recipient.

Audience

The Audience section manages who receives your messages.

Segments

Segments are dynamic groups of users based on properties or behaviour — for example, "users who signed up in the last 30 days" or "contacts with a plan = Pro".

Segments update automatically as users meet or leave the criteria.

Subscription Groups

Subscription groups let users opt in or out of specific message types (e.g. Marketing Emails vs. Transactional Alerts). This keeps you compliant with communication preferences.

Reporting

The Reporting section tracks performance across all campaigns:

  • Delivery rate — how many messages were successfully delivered
  • Open rate — email and in-app opens
  • Click rate — link clicks within messages
  • Journey performance — how users progress through each step
  • Unsubscribes — opt-out counts over time

Filter reports by channel, date range, or specific campaign.

Supported Channels

Campaigns supports sending messages across:

  • Email — transactional and marketing emails
  • SMS — short message service via connected SMS gateway
  • In-app messaging — messages shown inside the KronGage interface

To configure channels, go to Settings within the Campaigns module and connect your email provider or SMS gateway.
