Channels
The Channels section is where you connect and manage social media accounts. Each connected account is a channel that can be selected when composing or scheduling posts.
Supported Platforms
KronGage Social Publishing supports connecting accounts on:
- Instagram (Business or Creator)
- Facebook (Pages)
- X (formerly Twitter)
- LinkedIn (Pages and personal profiles)
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Threads
Connecting a Channel
- Go to Channels
- Click Add Channel
- Select the platform you want to connect
- Follow the OAuth flow — you will be redirected to the platform to authorise KronGage
- Once authorised, the account appears in your channel list
For Facebook and Instagram, you must connect a Facebook Page (Instagram accounts must be linked to a Facebook Page to be accessible via the API).
Channel Status
Each connected channel shows a status badge:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected | Active and ready to publish |
| Expired | The OAuth token has expired — reconnect the account |
| Error | An API issue is preventing publishing — see the error detail for next steps |
Reconnecting an Expired Channel
- Click the channel with an Expired status
- Click Reconnect
- Complete the OAuth flow again
Token expiry is normal for most platforms and happens every 60–90 days.
Removing a Channel
Click the three-dot menu on any channel card and select Remove. This disconnects the account and removes it from all future scheduled posts. It does not delete historical analytics data.
